6 Photos from our Vacation to 3 National Parks
by Barrett

Visiting the Grand Canyon has always been on my bucket list. This summer we tripled our fun by expanding our trip to include Zion Canyon and Bryce Canyon in Utah.
My family and I have just traveled to three national parks in the Southwest including the Grand Canyon. The weather was perfect, other than the threat of several afternoon thunderstorms and what felt like ongoing flash-flood warnings. My concern about the potential for severe summer heat out there was mostly unfounded. The major exception was Las Vegas, where we flew into. Vegas reached 100 degrees, but it was a dry heat (and that’s not really hot for Las Vegas).
Taking pictures at Zion Canyon and Bryce Canyon was a joy, but trying to appropriately capture the Grand Canyon’s vastness was a challenge on an entirely different scale.
I’ll be discussing our road-trip adventures, amazing hikes and photography challenges in upcoming posts. For now, here are a few pics from our bucket-list trip.
